Stahl Sheaffer is currently seeking Structural Engineering candidates for our Building Structures Department in the State College, PA and McMurray, PA offices. We are seeking a mix of mid-level engineer, senior-level engineer, and structural manager. Position would depend on experience level.
See our Careers page for more information on this and other open positions. Jamie Merrill, based on his time at Autodesk University, is one of the few individuals in Pennsylvania officially certified in AutoCAD and Revit. Jamie is a designer in Stahl Sheaffer's Building Structures group.
Stahl Sheaffer has been selected to design the Bradford Airport Industrial Park Access Road including roadway design, MPT, utility coordination, HOP permitting, environmental permitting and delineation, and NEPA documentation. ED3 Consultants will lead survey tasks and A.G.E.S. will perform geotechnical services.
Stahl Sheaffer prepares to advance prior research work on full depth reclamation (FDR) and cold-in-place pavement recycling (CIR). 40 tons of RAP and subgrade material were delivered to the Stahl Sheaffer lab this week to be used for research and development projects over the winter. If you're attending the 2016 PAAMA Conference in State College, don't miss Dr. Jingan Wang's presentation on "The Effect of Cement on the Properties of CIR with Emulsion".
PennDOT District 2-0 has selected Stahl Sheaffer Engineering to lead the design of 3 bridge replacements in Clearfield County. Stahl Sheaffer will be assisted on the contract by Larson Design Group, The EADs Group, and American Engineers Group.
Stahl Sheaffer Engineering was the inspector for the recent installation of 24 streetlights in Selinsgrove, PA. The third phase of this TAP project placed the antique-style lamps north on Market Street between West Snyder and Spruce Streets and along East Pine Street from Market Street to the bridge crossing into the Isle of Que. 48 lights were added in earlier phases of the project, which began in 2005.
